Process Engineer – Senior (Invest & Financial Insurances)

As a Process Engineer within the Invest & Financial Insurances Tribe, you will play a key role in designing, analysing, and continuously improving end-to-end investment contracting processes. Working within the Advice Cluster – Contracting Squad, you will collaborate with Business, IT, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Operations to optimize investment contract flows, support regulatory initiatives, and contribute to the digital transformation of investment services.

You will ensure business processes remain efficient, customer-centric, compliant, and aligned with strategic business objectives while working in an Agile environment.

What will you do?

  • Analyse, design, and implement end-to-end business processes for investment contracting activities
  • Improve and optimize existing processes to increase customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and risk control
  • Support the digitalisation of investment products and contracting processes
  • Perform business process analysis for investment contract lifecycle activities, including contract creation, activation, amendments, pledging, donations, and legal documentation
  • Translate business needs into clear process designs and functional requirements
  • Collaborate with Business, IT, Product Owners, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Operational teams to deliver process improvements
  • Participate in ideation workshops to help define future business solutions aligned with strategic objectives
  • Identify process improvement opportunities using KPIs, operational feedback, customer complaints, and risk indicators
  • Support application changes by defining business requirements, validating solutions, and participating in testing activities
  • Prepare, maintain, and update clear process documentation, work instructions, procedures, and operating guidelines
  • Ensure business processes comply with internal policies, legal requirements, compliance standards, audit recommendations, and risk management frameworks
  • Support change management activities, including user communication, training, and post-implementation support
  • Provide functional guidance to operational teams during and after process implementations
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and quarterly planning sessions
  • Estimate workload, organize activities independently, and contribute to successful sprint delivery within multidisciplinary Agile teams

What do you bring?

  • 2–6 years of experience as a Process Engineer, Business Analyst, Process Analyst, or similar role
  • Experience analysing, designing, documenting, and improving end-to-end business processes
  • Knowledge of process management methodologies and continuous process improvement techniques
  • Understanding of investment products and the investment services domain
  • Experience working with Legal, Compliance, Risk Management, Operations, and IT stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of operational risk management and internal control principles
  • Experience translating business requirements into process documentation and functional specifications
  • Experience supporting testing, implementation, and business change initiatives
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies including Scrum and multidisciplinary squad environments
  • Knowledge of business architecture, workflow automation, robotics (RPA), or data management is considered an advantage
  • Strong analytical thinking with the ability to structure, model, and simplify complex business processes
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Customer-focused mindset with a continuous improvement mentality
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional Agile teams
